Let's Get Acquainted
Welcome to Tales of the Tarantula. I am your host, Frank Terranella, aka The Tarantula. That was a name given to me by a beloved high school teacher who handed out nicknames to the students he liked (or those whose names he couldn't pronounce).
I have been a writer all my life and even made a living as a journalist for a while. After that I was a freelance writer, legal journalist and sometime trademark lawyer.
This blog is a collection of my essays on topics of general interest to me from music to movies to politics to everyday life. It's the column I didn't get to write when I was a daily newspaper editor. Now, thanks to the internet, I get to write any time the spirit moves me about any topic that catches my fancy.
